Vero Leopoldino

Vero Leopoldino is an experienced movement practitioner and facilitator. She began her studies as a child in Ballet, Latin American and Ballroom, and Brazilian dance, before going onto specialise in Afro-Brazilian dance, West African dance, Yoga and Breath Work. Vero has been teaching since 2006 and has experience in both community spaces and corporate environments. Vero is fascinated with human beings - minds and bodies; what makes people tick, how we connect with ourselves, other people and our environment, and what gives us quality of life and makes us feel good. The \'forever student\', Vero has a degree in Social Psychology, is a qualified Breath Work Coach, Mental Health First Aider and Registered Yoga Teacher. Her studies have led her to travel across Europe, and to Brazil, Senegal, India and Bali. Vero\'s classes embrace *every body* - people from all backgrounds, looking at ways to use movement as a guide to understand how our bodies and minds function, both anatomically and emotionally. With particular experience and interest in injury prevention and recovery, Vero encourages practitioners in her sessions to develop their own tools so they know how to take care of their own physical and mental health and wellbeing. Just in the same way we all need to eat, sleep and brush our teeth everyday, we also need to move our bodies effectively; ease out the creaks, have a stretch, strengthen our muscles, and give our mind space and time to review, restore, and support its peak performance.
