For over 35 years, I worked in sports on the management side. I have been privileged to work with Olympic athletes (US Cycling) and professional athletes ( (world class soccer players). Having always been athletic, primarily as a gymnast during high school and college, I appreciate the dedication and discipline these individuals exert to succeed. This gave me a deep appreciation for what it takes to be a fit athlete -- to build strength, and balance it with mental and complementary practices, such as yoga.

Yoga found me in 1997, in a health club that called it Flexible Strength , as yoga might have sounded too woo woo. I fell in love, and completed my first 200 hour Hatha yoga teacher training in 2004. Additionally, I am certified in Yin Yoga and as a YogaBody Certified Flexibility Coach , and recently certified as a YogaBody 200 hour teacher. My clients have been diverse, ages 13 - 83: adolescent boy and girl hockey players, staff members of the US Mens National Soccer Team, and fit current and former athletes of all ages, including an 83-year old Senior Olympian in running (4 medals last summer) . I have taught yoga classes as fundraisers for charitable organizations, and enjoy bringing this beneficial practice to new audiences. I would love to share my knowledge, experience and enthusiasm for yoga so you too can discover the physical, mental and emotional benefits.
