Samantha Mills

Yoga & Yoga Trapeze Teacher with over 15 years of experience teaching classes, private lessons, corporate classes, retreats, international holidays and 200hr yoga teacher training courses.

I was born in South Africa where I grew up with a passion for sports and the outdoors. Raised with Indian philosophical teachings my desire for both spiritual and physical development led me to the practice of Hatha yoga. However it was the combination of movement with breath whilst creating heat, strength and flexibility that drew me to Ahtanga and creative Vinyasa Flow. I have since become very interested in slowing the movement down, paying attention to the micro movements and how the spirality of our fascial system can be accessed in a deeper and more meaningful way. I have been incredibly fortunate to be taught taught and inspired by some of the world’s best yoga teachers including Desirée Rumbaugh, Karen Kirkness, Joanne Avison, Christina Sell, Shiva Rea, John Friend, Maty Ezraty, Sean Corn, Mercedes Ngoh and many more. My classes are an amalgamation of all I have learned and continue to learn from these wonderful teachers.

I have always been fascinated with new movement and healing modalities and the effect they have on the body and mind. I love how diverse yoga is and how the many different yoga poses and ways to move the body are able to strengthen and mobilise our body and reconnect us back to a place of deep peace and joy.
