Davide Russo Diesi is a passionate and enthusiastic Kriya Yoga practitioner and a Yoga Alliance Certified Yoga Teacher (E-RYT® 200, RYT® 500, YACEP®), which acknowledged the completion of his Yoga Teacher Training with the Registered Yoga School YOGASTHALI YOGA SOCIETY – INDIA (RYS 200-RYS 500), under the direction of Dr. Radheshyam Mishra and Hemlata Sharma, Jaipur, Rajasthan. Davide Russo Diesi was ordained Swami inside the Giri Lineage of Himalaya in 2014, with the spiritual monastic name of Swami Amrirananda Giri Ji. He spent periods of study and practice of the ancient Kriya Yoga of the Himalayan tradition in Ranikhet (the Indian state of Uttarakhand) under the direct guidance of his Guru, Baba Balak Giri Ji., who taught him the fundamentals of the science of the original and authentic Kriya Yoga, practicing inside the cave of Mahavatar Babaji, the sacred place and root of the path of self-realization. He is also a YOGABODY® Certified Breathing Coach. His Yoga Studio in Italy is named YOGADELRESPIRO (Breathing Yoga) and he believes that teaching people how to breath properly may be a great support to relieve many difficulties everybody is meeting in everyday life. On December 2021 Davide completes successfully the CSEN (Italian National Sport Education Center) Course of Mental Coaching becoming a certified Mental Coach (Certificate No. 21081) for the holistic and wellness area. On May 10th2021 Davide has been certified Yoga Professional Member by IYA (Indian Yoga Association), ID IYA/2021/YPF365, valid for lifetime. On March 2021 Davide completed the necessary training and assessment to demonstrate competence and understanding within the field of Mindfulness and was awarded a Mindfulness Diploma from the renowned Centre of Excellence Training Courses in Manchester, UK. At the beginning of 2021 he successfully completed the Y-40 The Deep Joy Mike Maric Workshop of Freediving achieving all requirements and demonstrating to Y-40 (the world's deepest pool) the ability. He thereafter accomplished the PADI Basic Freediver Course and satisfactorily met the standards for this certification level as set forth by PADI obtaining the PADI FREEDIVER Patent no. 2103EG7924. At present he teaches mainly on-line with Zoom Meeting because of the Covid-19 restrictions. The Ashram/Yoga Studio he founded in 2019 is located on Orta San Giulio Lake, Novara, Italy.
