Hi! My name is Amanda, originally from Malaysia I now call Melbourne, Australia my home. I\'m an avid lover of all things mind and body. I first discovered Yoga when I was a teenager however at that age I had no interest in committing to exercise as I had \"better things to do\". After having spent a career sitting for long hours and hunching over desks, coupled with stressors of the daily grind, my body began to scream with body aches and pains. I was not getting any younger and I just knew I had to do something so I don\'t constantly feel like a pretzel. The rediscovery of my yoga journey feels like coming home. I feel the happiest when I am on the mat practising, focusing on the present connecting my breath with each movement. Yoga has helped me build a stronger, more flexible balanced body and mind, manage stress, lose weight and help with injury recovery over time. First and foremost, I am a student. I believe we grow through lifelong learning. I am also a qualified Yoga teacher having completed a certification in 200hr YTC with Yogabody.
