Originally from China, grew up in California, now based in New York. Before embarking on my yoga journey, I was a professional ballet dancer for 20+ years working under tremendous stress in competitive dance companies in the U.S. and abroad. I was on the “go-go-go” until I was hit with a major ankle injury, and that’s what brought me to yoga. In addition to developing strength, flexibility and balance, yoga has taught me how to breathe, finding inner peace and calmness on a daily basis through the integration of its relaxation and meditative components. I believe each student is unique with individual strengths and growth potential, and I am eager to inspire, make a positive impact, guide and support each student’s journey to mind-body health and wellness.

I am a passionate, qualified yoga teacher with a focus on a strong Vinyasa style incorporating a science-based approach to mind-body health and wellness. I strongly believe that students of all levels and diverse backgrounds can benefit from yoga in a safe and supportive environment to develop strength and flexibility, reduce stress and overcome injuries.
