Born in Montreal, Canada, now living in the Florida Keys, Debra’s interest in Yoga began while attending hot yoga classes in Dallas. With a background in dance, gymnastics, karate, tai chi, weight lifting and many other sports, yoga was a natural progression. Inspired by the mind, body, spirit connection and the overall health and wellness benefits of yoga, Debra throughly enjoys learning, practicing, teaching and sharing the yogic experience with her students, family and friends. YogaBody® Trapeze Yoga was a wonderful discovery that expanded her practice and teachings to focus on pain relief, spinal health, posture, functional mobility, strength and flexibility through therapeutic conscious movement and the traction of Trapeze Yoga. Debra brings YogaBody® Trapeze Yoga to all through individual and group classes and Eco Therapy Yoga Retreats in the breathtakingly beautiful Florida Keys. The perfect place to do Yoga outdoors by the ocean in such a serene natural environment. She also teaches Conscious Movement Yoga classes where all that she has learned from Somatic Movement, Pilates, Dance and Yoga are combined. No experience is necessary. Beginners are welcome.
